“Did you ever work on Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends or Dexter’s Lab or Powerpuff Girls or other UPA-influenced shows? I love your stylish cartoony designs!” — iansimsjam
Thanks, but I didn’t work on any of those shows! I worked on Mighty Mouse: The New Adventures (and some other miscellaneous Bakshi stuff), The Simpsons, Tiny Toon Adventures and Tazmania. I was working at Pixar when the Cartoon Network shows began! — J.

This’ll be a new topic in the coming weeks, so it seemed appropriate to whip up a new icon. Now if only I can figure out how the new blog post UI works…
UPDATE (1/30): Tumblr has said that the image layout interface is drag-and-drop, but I can’t get text to go around the old square icons. I’m thinking of making new banners (like the one above) out of the old blog artwork. Stay tuned!

This took a fair amount of time to do, but I’m not sure I’m actually going to use it to mark any obituaries that I might post here. Regardless, it was fun to draw, so I hope you enjoy it the ‘large’ version.

…but I had the artwork, and I thought it’d look cool with the previous Lego post. Finding the font was the hard part!

I find it handy to have as many blog icons as possible. You never know when you’ll need a new category…like today!

I can’t remember what motivated this piece, but you’ll be sure to see it more in the future. Hope you like it!

I imagine the Geekery categories have this covered already, but the Bob Burns post seemed to call out for something special. Plus - more blog icons mean more variety! Enjoy this larger (but low-res) version.

Here’s four more Kumo-Kun colorways, three of which are very likely to happen. There is a Tr!ckster variant here, but I’m currently rethinking it. Of course, the third one is a glow-in-the-dark version. Gotta do that!

Here’s some more Kumo-Kun variants I did to get my brain warmed up. Enjoy!

I have four versions of Kumo-Kun that I like, and I’m trying to figure out a fifth one. Here’s four possibilities for colorway number five - which one do you like?
